Our Process

Why?

Our goal is simple: reduce the use of single-use plastics while providing the Gallatin Valley with an easy, AFFORDABLE way to lower waste by refilling and repurposing.

What?

We source products from companies that use natural ingredients and care about their impact. We carry everything from hand soap to dry shampoo to laundry detergent.

Where?

We do delivery and drop-off/pick-up refills (just about) every day of the week. Schedule one today and we will send you the location (located in downtown Bozeman)!

How?

Use your own containers or purchase one of ours. We weigh it, fill it, and weigh it again (“tare”). By weighing your container twice, you only pay for the products you (re)fill.

Hi, I’m Sarah Sloan, owner and founder of the Refillery Supply Co.

Why did I start The Refillery? Because I’m sick of relying on recycling to help solve our problems.

I used to be what you might call an overeager recycler, tossing things into the recycling bin like it was my job because it seemed like the answer to all our problems and because it made me feel like a better person. Over the past few years, I started to realize that throwing the wrong things in the recycling bin was doing more harm than good. This made me feel helpless. What if I recycled an item that was not actually recyclable? It would ruin the whole batch?

My favorite place in the world is the Outer Banks of North Carolina. My favorite thing to do in my favorite place is to float in the ocean. To think that all this plastic we consume every day is harming my favorite place and the sea creatures that live in it.. well that just won't do. I hope to make some sort of difference by offering our community a place to reuse, repurpose, and refill.
