Hi I'm Jackie! I dropped out of college at 19 to pursue this business. The Lehigh Valley had a major lack of sustainable resources and well, I wanted to help bridge the gap. This business that I started in my parents basement in 2019 grew quicker and larger than I ever dreamed it would have over the last few years. We are so much more than just a shop that sells sustainable products. Here at FD Market we keep our community at the forefront of what we do. We care about our products and where they come from. We care about our employees. And we care about our impact. We MADE your products, by hand, and with lots and lots of love. We don’t believe in cutting corners, or treating people or the planet poorly in the name of profit. We’re *picky* about the products we use in our homes, and therefore sell in our store. Our products are plant-based, and free of nasties like phthalates, silicones, and sulfates. These ingredients are not only known hormone disrupters and allergens, but are also not-so-great on mama earth either. We also pay fair wages ALL the way down our supply chain. The majority of our products are made in the USA, by REAL people, in safe conditions, and paid fairly. We refuse to sacrifice our values just to increase profit. And we value each and every one of you whether you just joined our journey or have been here since the beginning! YOU guys are the reason we do this. This community is my greatest accomplishment. Without you this would be nothing and that is NOT lost on me. Never have I second guessed that this is where I’m meant to be & what I’m meant to be doing!
